Step 1: MS Access Built-in Functions

MS Access comes with lots of built-in functions. You can use the power of these function will building a query. To access these built-in functions lets develop the query as a first step.

1. As shown in the slide above, click the Queries object under the Objects group.

2. Click the New command as depicted with label 2 in the slide.

3. On the ‘New Query’ window select the option ‘Design View’.

4. Finally click the <OK> button.
