Step 1: Run Table/Query

The very first step is to have the data in front of you. This can be achieved either by running the query you already created or double clicking the table containing the data you would like to export.

As depicted in the slide we are using the HR_DEPARTMENTS table which is basically Oracle table linked into MS Access database. We want to export this table into some other format out of MS Access environment. In order to do so, double click on the HR_DEPARTMENTS table name. Before doing so make sure you have clicked the ‘Tables’ object under the Objects group.

Now you will be having the whole HR_DEPARTMENTS table in front of you with all the data and everything.
