Chapter 6: MS Access Data Import/Export Feature
Step 6: Write Name for Table & Click Finish

1. Finally the ‘Import Spreadsheet Wizard’ will ask for the name you
would like to assign to the table to be imported from MS Excel
worksheet. By default it would be having the same name as that of MS
Excel file name containing the worksheet (table) to be imported.
2. Once you click this <Finish> button as shown in Figure 6-14 with
label 2, MS Access will start migrating the data from MS Excel file to
its environment.
If at this point, you want to save the steps of data import you
performed via the wizard.

At this point you have been given the option to save the steps of import
process. To do this mark the checkbox and click the <Close> button.
The saved import steps can be accessed by first clicking the “External
Data” command and then clicking “Saved Imports” as shown in Figure 6-16.
Select the “stored import steps” and click the “Run” command as shown in
Figure 6-16
Once the import process completes, you will see a message window
updating you regarding the successful completion of the process.
