Step 5: Write Form Name and Click Finish

1. Your form will be saved after this step. Here you have to supply your form name as shown in Figure 4-23 with label 1. We have entered HR_DEPARTMENTS.

2. Click the <Finish> button.

As soon as you click the <Finish> button, MS Access will start developing the form based on your inputs. Depending on the complexity of your form and system speed, within few seconds you should see the MS Access Form HR_DEPARTMENTS run-time view as shown in Figure 4-24.

1. To insert a new record in the MS Access database table, click on the button as shown in Figure 4-24 with label 1.

2. As depicted with label 2, this is the <Next> button. Clicking this button every time, will take you to the next record until you reach the last record in the table. If you are at the last record, clicking this button will do nothing.

3. If you go back to MS Access Form Design View, expand the “View” drop-down menu as shown with label 3 in Figure 4-24. From the drop-down list click on “Design View” command as shown in Figure 4-25.
